what causes drug resistance ?

More and more drug resistance bugs (pathojen,i.e bec -teria,virus ,parasites etc)are showing for the simple reasons ,Drs prescribe stronger anti -biotics for milder infections ,people abort treatments ,rarely complete a prescribed course religiously .The recent one was NDM-1(new Delhi Metallo-beta -lactmase).The result is milder becterial infections are increasingly developing resistance to even high -end antibiotics .suparbugs are thriving are to stayunless we change our attitudes to drugs .

No multinational corporations (pharamaceuticals )are intressted in investing in R&D against these odds .Daibetes the mother of all diseases ,coronary artery diseases ,Stroke ,And new thiareapies are the main stay and focus of R&D.
