चिंतन शिविर का ढोंग (पहली क़िस्त )

इस देश को आज़ादी दिलाने का दावा जो कांग्रेस करती आई है वह अंशतया 

सही है ,सम्पूर्ण सच नहीं है .सम्पूर्ण सच तो यह है कि दूसरे विश्वयुद्ध के 

बाद इंग्लैण्ड  की स्थिति इतनी ज़र्ज़र हो गई थी कि वह भारत जैसे विशाल 

देश को अपने पंजे में दबाए रखने की शक्ति खो चुका था .रही सही कसर 

1946 के नौसैनिक विद्रोह ने पूरी कर दी थी .

देश के असंख्य क्रांतिकारियों के बलिदानों और महात्मा गांधी की अहिंसक 

क्रान्ति ने मिलकर अंग्रेजी शासकों की नींद हराम कर दी थी .वीरसावरकर 

,सुभाषचन्द्र बोष जैसे क्रांतिकारी कर्मशीलों और संगठित सैनिक शक्ति के 


रूप में उभरी आज़ाद हिन्द फौज की दृढ़ता ने विदेशी शासकों की जड़ों में 

मठ्ठा डाल दिया था .गांधीजी तो कांग्रेस के चवन्निया सदस्य भी नहीं थे 



इसलिए उनकी नैतिक शक्ति को अपनी कायर नीतियों से जोड़ना कांग्रेस 

की बे -शर्मी है .गांधी जी के आगमन से पहले तक यानी 1920 के आसपास 

तक कांग्रेसी नेताओं ने अंग्रेजी सरकार की चापलूसी के वक्तव्य देने और 

कहीं कहीं समझौते की मुद्रा अपनाने के सिवाय कुछ उल्लेखनीय नहीं 

किया था .इसलिए इतिहास  का वास्तविक सच तो यही है कि भारत की 

आज़ादी की 

लड़ाई में कांग्रेस की कोई महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका नहीं है .1920 से सन 1947 

तक कांग्रेस की एक मात्र उपलब्धि यही है कि धर्म के आधार इस देश को 

बंटवाने का निंदनीय और अधूरा कार्य कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने किया .अगर 

इस पर भी कांग्रेस गर्वित होती है तो शर्मशार कब होगी ,जब एक 

पाकिस्तान और बनवा देगी? जयपुर चिंतन शिविर में इन्हीं दो मुद्दों पर 

चिंतन होना चाहिए था .पर चापलूस तालियों के बीच राहुल गांधी की पीठ 

पर उपाध्यक्ष की मोहर लगा देने से क्या मिल गया ?सच्चे कांग्रेसियों को 

इस पर अपने शुद्ध अंत :करण से विचार करना चाहिए .

  Shinde's shame: Saeed wants India declared 

terrorist state



   

 Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde has put India in a most embarrassing 

situation 

with his attack on  Hindu or saffron terror. There cannot be more damning indictment of a 

home minister when an international terrorist takes refuge under him and wants India to be 

declared as terrorist state. Lashkar-e-Taiba founder and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed 

today sought to exploit Shinde's remarks against RSS and BJP saying Indian 

"propaganda" against Pakistanis of spreading terror now stood "exposed". "India tried to 

involve us in the Mumbai attacks but after a passage of five years, nothing has been 

established against us in the courts," he claimed. Saeed who heads the Jamaat-ud-Dawah 

made a ridiculous demand, asking the Pakistan government to take steps to get India 

declared "a terrorist state" by the United Nations Security Council. Speaking in Lahore, 

Saeed alleged that Indian organizations were "involved in all kinds of terrorism in 

Pakistan". Saeed, for whom the United States has announced a $10 million bounty, told 

news persons that India always resorted to propaganda against Pakistani organizations 

but it now stood "exposed". Saeed's statement makes the BJP demand asking for Shinde's 

head seem too little punishment for the home minister, who has since admitted to having 

levelled charges on the basis of "reports" and no hard evidence. Shinde has under him 

many intelligence agencies spending crores of rupees and the home minister could have 

had some work done by them, like vetting his enthusiastic speech at the Congress 

enclave in Jaipur. The bottom line is that Shinde should not be making such off hand 

remarks. Understandably, the BJP slammed him for claiming that "training camps of both 

the BJP and the RSS are promoting Hindu terrorism". The party has demanded 

unconditional apology from UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan 

Singh. Terror has no religion, says BJP BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad has 

expressed strong objection to Shinde using the word 'saffron terror'. He said that saffron is 

a pure word and it is on our national flag. Prasad said terror has no religion. Such remarks 

by the home minister will give an opportunity to Pakistan to use it against India. BJP has 

also announced a nationwide protest against Shinde's remark on Jan 24. Jaitley wants 

apology "Shinde has to prove what he has said otherwise he has to withdraw the remark 

or apologize," Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, told reporters in 

Siliguri. "Congress which withdrew POTA has always been soft towards terrorists and 

terrorism instead of taking a hard stand," he said. "That was why Shinde's hand was 

trembling to sign (the order) on the person who launched the attack on Parliament and 

whose death sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court," Jaitley said. What Shinde 

said? "Reports have come during investigation that BJP and RSS conduct terror training

 camps to spread terrorism... Bombs were planted in Samjhauta express, Mecca Masjid 

and also a blast was carried out in Malegaon. We will have to think about it seriously and 

will have to remain alert," Shinde said at the Chintan Shivir of the Congress party in Jaipur 

on Sunday. Later, speaking to reporters, Shinde justified his remarks and said he has only 

pointed out what had been said in newspapers on several occasions. However, he did 

clarified that he meant 'saffron terrorism.' "This is saffron terrorism that I have talked about. 

It is the same thing and nothing new. It has come in the media several times," the home 

minister said.
